My positive mindset as a plus size woman pertaining to dating

I’m not about to criticize mens' preference when it comes to women. It will be hard to, but not impossible to change beliefs with one article. It is simply me sharing my experiences and perception.

There are a lot of misconceptions out there about what men want. Men are typecast into wanting model types of women. As a young person I thought I never had a chance of finding love because of my weight and based on what the media portrayed.

I can’t claim to know what is going on in every guys mind. But what I know for sure is it impossible for all men to want one type of woman. I am not saying become obese because weight does not hinder you in finding a partner.

As much as some people hate it large people are here to stay. They are here to live life to the fullest. To achieve their dreams and leave a legacy. We all want success as human beings.

As a plus size woman like any woman, you have a lot to offer. You have talents, skills, a great personality and might even have a degree. Big, medium, small girls you are beautiful.

But where I live some men are open to dating different sizes of women. I hope the whole of the world catches on and women don’t have to starve themselves to be attractive to men.

Which men are starving themselves to be attractive to women?

Some might say it is not just about that. I am starving myself to look good for myself, to wear my dream size, to look good in clothes and to be more confident. Watching your weight is necessary but starving yourself so unnecessary.

Confidence does not have to be derived from the ideal weight only. What if you had the ideal weight but your life was stagnant and you were not living your dreams?

Confidence is derived from self- love, being happy with your achievements, having a positive mindset for your future.
